Background

Christina Bobb is a former One America News Network (OAN) anchor and Trump attorney. She served in the United States Marine Corps from 2009-2012 as a judge advocate and was an executive secretary for the Department of Homeland Security before becoming a Trump attorney. She earned a J.D. from California Western School of Law and an LLM in national security law from Georgetown University Law Center.

The Case

Bobb was never federally charged or convicted, but she received a preemptive federal pardon from President Trump in November 2025 as part of a batch of 77 pardons for allies involved in efforts to overturn the 2020 election. The pardon was described as "full, complete, and unconditional" but was largely symbolic since presidential pardons apply only to federal crimes and Bobb had no federal convictions.

In 2020, Bobb became an anchor at One America News Network (OAN), a far-right, pro-Trump cable channel. She gained prominence promoting falsehoods about the 2020 election and supporting efforts to overturn it. She was spotted in Trump's campaign "war room" the day before January 6, 2021.

As a Trump attorney, Bobb signed a June 3, 2022 certification letter attesting that a "diligent search" of Mar-a-Lago had been conducted and all classified documents returned to the government. However, the FBI's August 8, 2022 raid recovered approximately 100 additional classified documents, making her statement false. Prosecutors investigated whether her actions constituted obstruction of justice, but she was not expected to be charged.

In April 2024, Bobb and 17 other Arizona Republicans were indicted for involvement in the Trump fake electors plot. The Republican National Committee named her to lead its election integrity program in March 2024.

The Pardon

On November 9, 2025, President Trump granted Bobb a full pardon along with 76 other allies tied to efforts to overturn the 2020 election. The pardon was issued preemptively, before any federal charges were filed. The proclamation covered conduct "relating to the advice, creation, organization, execution, submission, support, voting, activities, participation in, or advocacy for or of any slate or proposed slate of Presidential electors" in connection with the 2020 election.
